Gail began painting back in 1977 under the private tutelage of Mrs. Loraine Anderson, an established artist who is famous for her oil of John Wayne. As she developed in her skill, Gail also was given the opportunity to continue her studies with another well-known artist, known simply as Rachel, whose fame is linked to her amazing floral pastels and heartfelt scenes of rural America.

Gail's work is a blending of color and mysticism, combined in an elegant and harmonious style. Her art conveys a sense of peace and calmness designed to aid you on a meditative journey away from the hustle and bustle of life. The symbolism and messages contained within her work range from the obvious triangular contour to the most subtle hidden figures. The twinkling reflections of light dance through her work and changes the look and depth of her paintings in a marvelous fashion.

Her work has been displayed at the Temecula Art Gallery, Valeria E. Wong Galleries, in Carlsbad, and her unique "Visual Meditative Art" has even been featured on television CNN, the CNN local news on KDCI in Carlsbad and Oceanside, Ca. They have also been displayed at the PixArt Gallery in Costa Mesa, and The Mystical Dragon, in Carlsbad.

Gail is a Reiki Master Teacher, and has enhanced her artwork with a healing touch.

Gail received her Reiki Master's Degree ( the Ancient Art of Natural Healing, Chi) from Diane Stein on Easter morning 1992, her life changed forever, and she began writing poems the next morning.

She wrote 11 poems in 11 days called Lightwords and found writing poetry to be effortless and dreamy. They became one more piece of the puzzle...she had to combine, to come to her creation today... as the cards for loved ones to buy for those are leaving this plane of existence. She combines her artwork, poetry and spiritual inspiration... together for her newest endeavor...The Crossing Over Cards, for anyone who needs a card where none exists.

She saw this void in the card section when a friend was dying...and knew that Get Well was not appropriate... "We need a card for those in "transition", and so, she started this work in 1994, calling it "Transitional Journeys" and it's taken until now, 2006, to put the artwork, photos, the new poems for this venture, and combine them all together...for the Crossing Over Cards...to fill the void... and soften the journey for those in need of reassurance that we are all one, and always connected, and always will be.

Life on the other side is just a new chapter in life's long string of pearls that connect our lessons together to make up our glowing higher consciousness and Oneness of being We are One.
