The Art

When I first sit in front of a blank canvas I have no idea what will appear on it. I let my hands and mind flow, and follow spirit without hesitation.  I think it’s more like a joyful dance of my brush on canvas just allowing my hands to hold the brush and let my creative inspiration flow. I see the image in my mind and it slowly takes shape on my canvas, sometimes I’m surprised at what flows from my brushes…I feel like I’m in the place I’m painting, like I’ve been there, I remember,… and my mind is filled with memories that touch buttons within me, and I come away from the canvas with a new understanding, a fresh ‘now hindsight’ knowledge of then and now. A healing process of true understanding takes place within my soul, body and spirit. I feel my past, present and future dissolve in a now moment of discovery within the time element of the Etheric realms where true healing takes place. I add this energy to my work, and the healing essence blends into the oils wet with anticipation of what will appear next. I engage with my art in a whole body experience. My music sets the mood, so what I listen to does inspire me, and Enigma is my favorite music to dive into while creating in my studio. I am blessed and honored to share my visionary creations with you. I intend for them to bring Light, Love and Peace to all of you…may you know the joy I feel within them.
